Personal and Professional Growth throughout the Capstone Project and the RN-to-BSN Program

The project has acquainted me with several facets of professional nursing practice, which have greatly molded my practicum experience. As a certified nurse, I have expanded my cognizance of professional practice values, evidence-based nursing practice, régime and institutional guidelines regulating nursing practices, and professional code of ethics. I have obtained wide-ranging knowledge and profound aptitudes on professional standards and care ethics and their execution in medical practice from the capstone project. With a better comprehension of evidence-based principles, I had a chance to participate in practice development by recommending a novel interposition that would assist in alleviating the health burden allied with the management of chronic ailments such as diabetes. The project provided me with the chance to acquaint myself with change management and nursing leadership amid other nursing facets essential in my BSN program. The capstone project has exposed the untapped potential of healthcare technologies in delivering healthcare changes and addressing various problems facing our healthcare structures.
